The warm-up for Luye's 26th anniversary celebrations by the group's employees around the world wrapped up on June 18, the founding date of Luye. Thanks to the efforts of the employees, the "Energy Flying House" symbolizing care and dreams has accomplished its mission.
Luye employees enthusiastically participated in "Unlocking the Energy Screenplay" as the climax of the warm-up, and many upbeat contributions of various types were received for the program. These entries put a special focus on how employees were addressing the COVID-19 challenge this year, and we are now sharing some of their contributions with you.

The "energy pose" from New Jersey, U.S.A
During the critical period of the COVID-19 pandemic in March, Jason Fischer, Director of Laboratory Operations at Vela Diagnostics in New Jersey, U.S.A., and his colleagues spent their 14-day self-quarantine working in the office. Their goal was to speed up the submission of the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) application for the VelaDx SARS-Cov-2 test to the FDA. Ultimately, the team were successful in submitting the application.
“Since the pandemic began all of our work has been Covid related, so the most recent accomplishments and progresses have all been on this front. The demand has increased dramatically since the pandemic began and has required all our US employees to shoulder a much greater workload. I think our biggest achievement during this period has been our ability to adapt to the growing demand that we have encountered.”

"My unforgettable moments in combating COVID-19"—shared from the team at the Cellzone Medical Diagnostics Center
"Actively practicing Luye's management principles—as a leader we think you're the best!"
Since the Cellzone Medical Diagnostics Center began to formally conduct COVID-19 tests at the end of February this year, the team—led by the center's head Dr. Zhai Hongli—has been busy on the front lines of the battle against the virus. Whenever the hotline telephone rings—whether it's a customer coming to us or a request for us to go to a specific location—we take immediate action. In our busy schedule, Dr. Zhai has to do many things personally; without a dedicated vehicle to transport the samples, he has used his own car to help transport them; when we are running short of reagents, he will contact suppliers in a timely manner; he unloads supplies from vehicles together with us; he prepares dinners for colleagues working overtime...Here I'd like to say 'thank you', and as a leader we think you're the best!

"To all members of the COVID-19 testing team: you look just beautiful to us"
Once a COVID-19 sample is delivered to the lab, the testers have to receive it and pre-treat it as quickly as possible. But the samples don't come at a fixed time—they can arrive unexpectedly at any moment. This requires that members of our testing team are on call at any time, day and night. To shorten testing times and avoid wasting personal protective equipment (PPE), they might spend 6 hours in the lab without eating, drinking or going to the bathroom. In June, as it becomes warmer and warmer, their airtight protective clothing leaves them soaked in sweat every time they come out of the lab.
Left: Suit up properly before entering the lab
Right: They sleep in the lab when working overtime at night
Working in the lab day and night leaves them with marks of masks on their faces and red noses when they leave the lab. But they still look just beautiful to us.
Watching you combat COVID-19 is a moving and impressive sight.
