On May 15, the Internal Luye Team has organized the 1st Online APAC Commercial Excellence Workshop, involving business partners from 10 countries with 14 presentations and insightful discussions. 23 business managers from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, China Mainland, Hong Kong China, Taiwan China, Brazil, Brunei participated this captivating online forum via ZOOM. Webinar patient education, Online Symposium, HCP CME digital lecture, Webex CME, Standardized Whatsapp messaging reminders, Digital Dosing Chart, New video creation, Veeva Calls and Meetings, Commercial Excellence 9Grid, SFE and Will Matrix, are among some Digital best practices shared and discussed during the online workshop.
The key objectives of the workshop are to ensure continuous positive engagement with business partners despite travel restrictions (Work From Home) and to timely address the positive opportunities of the business leveraging disruptive digital technology. It was also designed to inspire commercial team members globally to continuously stay positive, to Level Up, to share and learn from best practices, thus to architect myriad solutions to close the business gaps and deliver the 2020 country objectives.
This Online Workshop was shaped and hosted by Andy Siow, APAC Commercial Director of Luye Pharma International. Andy emceed and facilitated the workshop with his team members Stacie, John and Tina.
“Through every catastrophe the modern world has ever known, we have survived. Innovators and leaders have emerged. New opportunities presented themselves. New tools were invented. Things got better. The world is disrupted, be it pandemic Covid19 or the consumption of digitalization. This is a historic moment to lead and grow, to rebranding, transforming our image, improving our skills, and adopting and responding to digital disruption. Let’s adopt a role model mindset." Andy.
The attendees also spoke highly of the online workshop. One of them commented: "Due to travel restrictions, we are not allowed to travel but to attend offline meetings in the pandemic. But this doesn't mean trouble for our business. We can take advantage of the Internet to hold meetings with colleagues from around the world . Business is still possible, and we need to continuously believe in ourselves and stay motivated. For example, Covid19 could lead to an epidemic of clinical depression. It is also likely lead to an increase in suicides. Together, we should establish mental health initiatives, how to best deal with interpersonal isolation, anxiety and depression. I'm really looking forward to attending the next workshop, and I hope that these meetings can be adopted by more teams and colleagues."
Preparations are already being made for the next online workshop. Stay tuned! We will continue to share any highlights through Luye digital magazine.
VIRTUAL CLINICS AT BOULCOTT HOSPITAL
During the COVID period Boulcott Hospital staff were required “think fast on our feet”, innovate and change quickly to ensure that they
supported their patients, doctors and kept the flow of business coming through to surgery. The implementation of a “virtual clinic” product with a low set-up cost of $300, provided a fully branded platform that could be implemented within a few days.
The product, called Doxy.Me, integrates with the hospital's existing patient management system to send text message reminders that patients can then click on and link into a video consultation with their surgeon. The surgeon is able to see patients in their virtual waiting room and admit the patient into their video call at the correct time. Whilst the patient is waiting, the receptionist can chat with them and run educational and promotional material.
Virtual clinics will continue to be utilised to allow consultations with both local patients and those from outside the hospital's area, who then travel to Boulcott for their surgery.
