Mindfront Health and VCBeat jointly published the 2021 China Digital Therapeutics White Paper
The 2021 China Digital Therapeutics White Paper ("White Paper") that Mindfront Health (China) participated in the planning and writing as a research member, was officially released on 16th April at the Fifth Future Healthcare VB100 Conference. The White Paper explained what digital therapeutics (DTx) is, what their values are, how it works in different scenarios, as well as the market competition brought about by the pandemic. Mindfront Health presented a deep dive into the current challenges and future development trends of central nervous system (CNS) related DTx.
Empowering medical professionals and patients for better treatment
DTx delivers evidence-based therapeutic interventions to patients that are driven by high quality software programs to prevent, manage, or treat a medical disorder or disease. They are used independently or in concert with medications, devices, or other therapies to optimize patient care and health outcomes. In the field of neurological and mental disorders, DTx has a wide range of application scenarios. It complements and optimizes traditional treatment methods and is of great value to patients, medical service providers, payers, and pharmaceutical companies.
Building a digital medical service system as part of the healthy China blueprint
With the rapid development of innovative technology and breakthroughs in basic research in neuro science and cognitive science, more and more innovative technologies have demonstrated significant value in the prevention, intervention, and treatment of neurological and mental disorders, and they assist existing diagnosis and treatment systems and methods in many aspects. For example, AI, VR and brain-computer interface (BCI) technologies, when combined with traditional psychotherapy, are able to improve the efficiency and accessibility of psychotherapy services to treat post-traumatic stress disorder PTSD, ADHD, autism, etc.
The Fifth Future Healthcare VB100 Conference is jointly organized by multiple medical organizations, VCBeat and its research team, VB100, Wujiang District Government of Suzhou City, and Zhong Nanshan Medical Foundation of Guangdong Province. The aim is to form transformation of the Internet, IoT, AI and other technologies that drive social development, therefore embracing the digital revolution of the healthcare industry in the post-epidemic era. The three-day conference kicked off on 16th April in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
Healthe Care hospitals pioneered Self Pay Surgery
Healthe Care has successfully launched an “Australian-first” program in 15 hospitals and day surgery centres, offering uninsured patients the opportunity to have their surgery in a private hospital, with an experienced surgeon, at a packaged rate - no hidden costs or extras.
Self Pay Surgery is backed by Healthe Care with a long standing reputation for exceptional quality, fast treatment times, and excellent patient outcomes. It is changing the way patients access private hospital care, reducing waiting times and providing greater access to services not available publicly. Patients are also able to fast-track their treatment.
Epping Private Hospital reborn with a new team, equipment and patients
The COVID-19 pandemic pushed the Australia healthcare industry to make some quick decisions, nowhere more so than at Epping Private Hospital in Melbourne. It had been closed, but with the pandemic in full swing, Healthe Care team worked closely with the Victorian Government and reopened it in just two weeks.
As Australia's only dedicated private COVID-19 hospital, Epping Private Hospital now has 24 single-bed rooms, each with an ensuite, providing a contemporary environment that meets stringent requirements required to provide high-quality care during the COVID-19 pandemic. The staff helped patients to watch Netflix or other streaming services, and also to communicate with their families on iPads; and we had zero infections from staff and zero patient-to-patient COVID transfer.
New service and experts welcomed to Healthe Care hospitals to fight heart disease and obesity
