December is a wonderful month full of joy and laughter. Luye sites are decorated and filled with Christmas cheer, and celebration and a relay of love is going on.
The Toronto Private and many other hospitals’ elves have been busy recently, as the annual Christmas decorating competition is in full swing. transform the hospital into a Christmas wonderland.
While Belmont Private Hospital welcomed the Santa Claus, the Robina staff became “Secret Santa”, makings their incredible donations this year to support “The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal”, which started in 1987 aims to make Christmas brighter for people facing hardship or crisis, through the delivery of gifts to those in need nationwide.
Belmont Private Hospital celebrated Perinatal Mental Health Week by holding fun educational seminars. And, with the belief that every baby deserves an equal start, our generous mums and staff donated baby essentials for those in need in Queensland community.
The holiday season is a time for celebration, family gatherings, and festive activities. However, for those undergoing physical rehabilitation for injuries, it can also be a period filled with challenges and temptations. Over the Christmas Period, our hospital teams are also running art therapy sessions, and mindful yoga alongside usual programs, as well as special sessions including therapy horse interaction. All these are aimed to maintain the patients’ rehabilitation routine during this time to ensure continued progress and avoid setbacks.
Sometimes the best therapy comes with four legs and a wagging tail. Look, the much-loved dog therapist Jessie is getting ready for special visits to Kellyville Private Hospital. The hospital recently launched an innovative short-stay inpatient program and finished its student training. The team also joined the 10-year anniversary celebrations of Positive Vibes Foundation, a charity dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health.
A few days ago, Deakin Private Hospital and Slade Pharmacy came together for the Red Ribbon Day Appeal in support of World AIDS Day; while the South Eastern Private Hospital team “went blue” in solidarity and to celebrate World Diabetes Day to echo the theme “Breaking Barriers, Bridging Gaps".

The Shanghai office specially invited colleagues with birthdays in the fourth quarter to gather together and enjoy the fun of DIY Christmas trees.
