The 8th Nanjing Oncology Annual Conference
On November 9, the "CSCO 8th Jinling Oncology Annual Conference" was successfully held in Nanjing. This conference featured four specialized sessions on lung cancer, breast cancer, gynecologic malignant tumors, and palliative & pain management, bringing together oncology experts from all over the country to focus on the latest research findings and clinical experiences in the field of oncology, and jointly explore new knowledge in clinical diagnosis and treatment. At the conference, the treatment breakthroughs for small cell lung cancer and cancer pain management were among the hot topics of discussion.
Aurora Healthcare Equips Professionals with Essential Mental Health Expertise
Aurora Healthcare recently held its Annual Mental Health GP Masterclass 2024 in Gold Coast, Australia, featuring 17 esteemed presenters from Currumbin Clinic, Robina Private Hospital, and Belmont Private Hospital leading four insightful and multidisciplinary case-focused sessions, including ‘Advances in Psychiatry’, ‘Trauma, Mood and Addictions’, ‘Older Person’s Mental Health’ and ‘Women’s Mental Health’.
The hybrid event provided nearly 100 GPs with 9.5 RACGP-approved educational hours, reinforcing Aurora's dedication to supporting GPs in mental health care. Attendees enjoyed a full day of insightful case-study presentations, multidisciplinary panel discussions and collaborative learning, and updates on the latest treatments in mental health.
In August, Aurora launched its national education roadshow with this event culminating as its largest attended event yet. This series exemplifies Aurora's commitment to equipping primary care providers with essential mental health expertise.
Luye Medical’s Greater Bay Area Project Successfully Signed in Tianhe, Guangzhou
The Management Committee of Tianhe Central Business District, Guangzhou City, and Luye Medical Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Luye Medical Group, signed a framework agreement on Greater Bay Area investment cooperation in Guangzhou on 21st November. The two parties will strengthen cooperation in the transformation of scientific research results, help Tianhe enhance its influence in the field of life science industry, protect public health, and create a better future together.
Luye Medical Technology (Guangzhou) plans to launch a series of influence building plans from the fourth quarter of 2024, mainly focusing on the three major sectors of "academic influence, social influence, and industrial influence". Driven by professional technology, fine operation and healthy lifestyle guidance, the new company will create a high-quality benchmark in the field of medical and healthcare.
This cooperation is to implement Tianhe District’s proposal of "concentrating superior resources to accelerate the construction of four hard-core industries such as life and healthcare" to accelerate the development of modern urban industries, which relies on the industrial chain resources of leading enterprises in the field of medical and healthcare.
Liu Aona, Executive Chairperson of Luye Medical Group, said in her speech that it is the mission of Luye Medical to achieve a diverse and healthy life with a sincere and altruistic heart. On 15th November, a delegation from Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission visited the newly opened Shanghai Celebright Plastic Surgery Hospital. The two sides held discussions on the innovative layout of Luye Medical's "body-mind-beauty" development roadmap and its strategic layout in Shenzhen, and the clustering development of Shenzhen's biomedicine industry, hoping to achieve coordinated development in the future.
