Thank You for Caring – Luye Medical Celebrates International Nurses’ Day and Mother’s Day
International Nurses Day met Nurses Day on 12th May this year. Luye Medical took this opportunity to acknowledge the compassion, professionalism, and round-the-clock commitment of our incredible nurses.
Celebright Team
Early in the morning, the lovely nurses from the Shanghai Celebright team received exquisite flowers and gifts. The management sent handwritten cards to express their respect and gratitude for the nursing team’s selfless dedication.
Let’s take a group photo with a bright smile! Thank you for your efforts and contributions every day - caring for a brighter life. While you are engaged in a warm and beautiful career to make people healthier and more beautiful, we wish you a beautiful mood every day.
Mindfront Team
At Mindfront Shanghai Clinic, balloons, cakes, cards and gifts were all in place for a unique event with countless surprises and encouragement to our nurses.
The Guangzhou and Shenzhen team held a “cloud” celebration for both Nurses' Day and Mother's Day. The nursing team received gifts that represented warmth, tenderness, and care. Colleagues who were mothers also received gifts that represented life, brilliance, and companionship.
In Xi'an, the celebration comprised of fun games and tailor-made gifts.
The relaxing and happy gathering allowed our nursing team to understand and appreciate each other, and gain more respect for nurses and medical workers. Thank you to the guardians of the soul, who help people regain happiness.
Yantai Campus
For our Yantai team, the day was full of sunshine, joy, love and support from family and friends.
The fun activities that followed gifts and blessing cards consisted of "Speed Chess", "Penalty Shootout" and "Tug of War”, with both fierce competition and close cooperation. When we overcame the challenges together, we found the real joy of victory as a team!
Aurora Healthcare Team
May in Aurora Hospitals was filled with surprises. The ingenious medical team prepared refreshments for teatime and BBQ, decorated balloon doors for parties, and even handmade a Nightingale mannequin tribute to nurses for their dedication.
With cakes and tea, we shared our stories and got to know each other better and become better “us”.
Nurses and mothers make the world beautiful, lovely, and warm. We recognise, celebrate, and appreciate our nurses, and the importance of the role of nursing across the world, and want to say a big “Thank you” not only to our nurses but all colleagues. May health and happiness be with you forever!
May Every Good Thing Make Its Way to You – Aurora May Events Highlights
May serves up plenty of truly perfect days – for both our work-hard-play-hard Aurora Healthcare team members, and those around them. Here are the highlights:
As part of our commitment to putting our people first, Brunswick Private Hospital, Aurora Health is proud to unveil 3 dedicated spaces for our people - Mindfulness Hub, Education Hub, and Prayer Room.
To recognise the start of the Butterfly Foundations MAYDAYS fundraising and advocacy campaign for eating disorders, Robina Private Hospital held a beautiful morning tea for patients and staff on the 1st of May.
The Butterfly Foundations goal this month especially, is to bring awareness to the experiences of Australians and to highlight key concerns relating to eating disorders and calls for change. Their mission is for all Australians to have access to eating disorder services and treatment regardless of their postcode.
The hospital also held its inaugural Family Fun Day, where teams and departments got to have friendly competition in a range of tasks and games, followed by a BBQ lunch and lots of laughs and fun.
It was an amazing day acknowledging World Hand Hygiene Day (5th May) in Toronto Private Hospital. Look, we have some hand washing superstars here!
To wrap-up April No Falls Month, Toronto Private Hospital also participated in a Balance Challenge recently. How long can you stand on one leg, with your eyes closed and on a piece of foam? For many of the staff here not long at all! This reminds us to recognise the risks that falls pose and to highlight the importance of prevention, particularly for older people.
We have joy, we have fun, we have seasons in the sun. We also give others love and help them find the sun. may has come to an end, yet may happiness always be with you, and may every good thing make its way to you!
Yantai Campus Delivers Health into the Community
To increase the local community’s awareness of the importance of oral health, rehabilitation health and help residents to deal with related health issues, four hospitals in Yantai sent their teams to Chang ‘an Community on the morning of 10th May to carry out free medical consultation for residents nearby.
The event enjoyed overwhelming popularity since early morning. Our doctors provided professional oral health diagnosis and treatment and blood pressure measurement for community residents, and they offered health counseling to the elderly and residents.
