Aurora Healthcare Australia Expands Online and Offline Services
To meet the increasing service demand from patients and help those in need on the road to recovery, Aurora Healthcare is actively expanding its sites across Australia. Major expansion includes Deakin Private Hospital, the first private mental health facility in the nation’s capital Canberra to feature young adult beds.
Deakin Private Hospital will expand Aurora's footprint into the ACT, with stage one to deliver 52 beds, group therapy rooms and doctors’ consulting suites for the treatment of adults and young adults. The stage one is on track to open in January 2023, with recruitment in readiness for opening already underway (left: rending; right: real scene).
The stage two expansion at Robina Private Hospital, Gold Coast is planned for commencement in the first quarter of 2023 (left), while the final stages of our brownfield project at Abbotsford Private Hospital is expected to see its completion in the coming weeks to deliver additional mental health services to the Perth community and beyond.
In addition to hospital expansion, Aurora online business will have full platform completion by year end 2022. The business will have capabilities in a national care connect service operated by an integrated CRM and a Cloud Clinic that supports psychologists’ private practice both in the hospital, clinics and online environment. The O2O strategy makes mental health services much easier.
A Conversation Can Change a Life - Aurora Healthcare Australia Supports “R U OK?" Day
8th September was the "R U OK?" Day in Australia, which was set to encourage people to ask others - are you okay? on this day and every day, and then start a meaningful conversation whenever they spot the signs that someone, they care about might be struggling with life.
Over the past 12 months, Aurora Healthcare Australia, the leading specialist private mental health provider has supported over 10,000 Australians on their journey towards improving their mental health, which means that we have ve provided over a million hours of care to the Australian community in this year alone. A conversation can change a life, and this is something that we see every day at our sites. It has been our “tradition” to support the “R U OK?” initiative since the establishment of Aurora Healthcare Australia.
Julia Strickland-Bellamy, CEO of Aurora Healthcare Australia delivered a video speech: “Life has ups and downs. By asking ‘are you OK?’ we can make a moment meaningful and let people know we support them; and a conversation can change a life.”
Yantai Huayi Rehabilitation Hospital Celebrates World Physical Therapy Day
World Physical Therapy Day, also known as World PT Day, marks the unity and solidarity of the global physiotherapy community. In Huayi Rehabilitation Hospital, physiotherapists and other medical workers gathered to share their joy and thoughts on this day (8th September). Look, their smiles are as sweet as the cake!
The focus for this year’s World PT Day is osteoarthritis and the role of physiotherapists in its prevention and in the management of people affected by osteoarthritis. In Huayi Rehabilitation Hospital, physiotherapists undertake comprehensive examinations or assessments of the patient, and then implement intervention/treatment programmes to help patients stand up again, gradually restore their body function to the greatest extent, and live with more dignity.
Vice Principal Jiang Pingyin expressed his gratitude to all the therapists for their contributions to the development of both the hospital and the rehabilitation industry; he also encouraged the team to make further progress.
Recovered patients and their families gave a big “thank you” and applause to the dedicated, thoughtful team who always go above and beyond the call of duty.
The solemn oaths of the physical therapists showed their determination to save lives.
We care with heart and love without boundaries. Through World PT Day, we hope more people can know about physical therapy and respect physiotherapists.
