International Nurses Day: Say “Thank You”, and Talk to Our Lovely Clinical and Nursing Staff

What we talk about when we talk about nurses? Keywords such as selfless, attentive, caring are not enough to describe them - if you really know them. Besides “nurse”, the occupation, a nurse has many other identities that we often neglect; and he, or she can do great as a child, a spouse, a parent or a friend. Why “he”? Well, there are men in nursing today.

A week prior to International Nurses Day, we chatted with nearly 20 nurses - both female and male - from various campuses of Luye Medical (China) and Mindfront Health (China). They come from mental health, rehabilitation, medical aesthetics, obstetrics and gynecology, dentistry and other specialties; and their years of work vary greatly.

When asked "What animal do you use to describe yourself?", "What has been your biggest change since becoming a nurse?", "What advice do you have for those who want to be nurses?", the team gave sincere and humorous answers which show us the real and funny side of them.
