“Leading Reform”: a Glance at Aurora Healthcare's Webinar on Mental Health

On 15th December, Belmont Private Hospital’s representatives was invited to join the Queensland Mental Health Commission's sector-wide webinar themed “Leading Reform” on COVID-19 preparedness and readiness as Queensland and the nation re-open borders. In the webinar, several mental health, alcohol and other drugs sector leaders shared insights and learnings on planning for responding to emerging needs of individuals, organisations and systems across public, private, primary health and non-government service providers.

Belmont Private Hospital, as part of the Aurora Healthcare Australia group, has rigorous pandemic planning, hygiene, and infection control policies in place, while acting in accordance with the latest government advisements and legislative requirements.

The event was organised in collaboration with Queensland Health, Queensland Network of Alcohol and Other Drug Agencies, Queensland Alliance of Mental Health, Health Consumers Queensland and Primary Health Networks.

 
New Hong Qiao Project Team’s Tree-planting Event: Sowing the Seeds of Hope

On 30th November, a fun and meaningful teambuilding event took place at Phase I of the New Hong Qiao Project in Shanghai. Liu Aona, Executive Chairperson of Luye Medical Group and Diao Haipeng, Chairman and CEO of Luye Medical (China), together with over 20 project team members planted the first camphor tree in the hospital area. Yang Jie, Chairman of Shanghai New Hong Qiao International Medical Center Construction and Development Co., Ltd. also joined the event.

Camphor tree, which has elegant outlook, luxuriant branches and leaves, is very common in parks and greenbelts in Shanghai. It is an evergreen tree and it gives out fragrance. Diao Haipeng said: We are sowing for a green shade and hope that symbolizes our hospital’s future success.

Afterwards, Mr. Diao showed the team around the medical technology building of the New Hongqiao International Medical Center (IMC), and gave a detailed introduction to deepen the team’s understanding of the overall planning of our hospital and the IMC.

“Be with You”: Housewarming at Mindfront Health’s New Outpatient Center in Shanghai

A group of 20 Luye Medical Group colleagues visited Mindfront Health’s newly opened outpatient center in Shanghai on 17th December.

The center, as Mindfront’s first flagship clinic in China, is nicely designed for visitors to escape the city’s hustle and bustle in a warm and healing environment. Through visit, ice-breaking games, graffiti expressions, and "Be with You" emotional management theme salon, our colleagues gained a deeper understanding of mental health.
